Aerial Decompression

From feet on the ground to feet in the air, our AERIAL DECOMPRESSION class welcomes beginners & more experienced practitioners. Move, breathe, & swing with shoulder, chest & back openers, twists, core strengthening, inversions & rest in the hammock.

Physical benefits may include spinal decompression, increased range of movement, circulatory, lymphatic, & endocrine system stimulation. Emotional effects may include building trust, confidence & self awareness, overcoming fears, increasing energetic flow & feelings of well being.

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra and Meditation offer a respite from sensory overload, media, pressure and effort. Cocooned in your hammock, seated or laying down, ease into a more relaxed state as you open to intention, release physically and decompress mentally through the yoga nidra sequence.

Yoga Nidra is offered live on Sunday or Wednesday including once during Full Moon, a peak time in the lunar cycle, known for the rising energy known in yoga as prana vayu. Balance the high energy with rest or conscious dreaming.

AERIAL or MAT REST $30 or Pass

A favorite of our regular aerial students & teachers, Aerial Earth offers all the benefits, effects, and postures of Aerial yoga with hammocks set close to the earth, at ankle to shin height. Warms up muscles, lengthen and strengthen, decompress your spine and other joints. Sequences may include heart and shoulder opening such as Fish & Heart Melting poses, hip opening such as inverted butterfly and pigeon variations. Strengthening may include Planks & Core movements, Restorative may include legs up in the hammock, spinal twists & extra props to support in every way.

For Aerial Earth, hammocks may be hip height or lower, focusing on sustained stretches and meditative awareness.

PRENATAL YOGA

Prenatal yoga individualized for your trimester and your needs, with supportive props and a mix of strengthening, stretching and purely restorative postures, breathwork and gentle hands on assists

Join Robin in our beautiful, spacious studio for a small group experience with dialogue & experiential learning you can take home and create a routine with.

Robin studied Prenatal Yoga with Pranakriya School of Yoga and has a decade of experience guiding prenatal yoga classes and private sessions

One on one sessions are also available and may include breath awareness, restorative postures, yoga nidra to address anxiety or depressive tendencies, how to modify your previous yoga or fitness practice, and other individual requests.

yIN YOGA FOR MEN with sound bath

Yin Yoga offers deeper stretches, targets the ligaments, tendons and faschia, and over time helps maintain and improve range of movement, flexibility, and meditative focus.

Jared offers this series of classes for beginners, returning yogis, athletes, people who work in tech, behind desks, or doing manual labor and most significantly, with guys’ bodies, minds, concerns, community building and perspectives in mind.

A sound bath with tongue drum and singing bowls is offered during savasana.

SOUND BATH & rESTORATIVE yoga W/ SOUND BATH

Ease your body and mind with prop supported postures to shift energy, recover the body, relax and replenish the whole self.

Many of our regular classes include sound vibration from singing bowls both metal and crystal, chimes, tongue drum, rainstick and other instruments. Experience extended experiences with the clearing, revitalizing, and magic that sound vibration offers during New Moon Sound Baths every month.

Yin & Restorative Yoga sequences for the body and mind with hands on reiki, assists, sound baths and oracle cards

Kristine Keegan is a Reiki Master practitioner, RYT 500 Yoga teacher, Thai Bodyworker, and Sound practitioner. She circulates the room offering Reiki, a form of hands on or over the body & other hands on assists. Sound instruments such as tuning forks and crystal or tibetan bowls may also be used for energy balancing and deep relaxation. Each week’s class is uniquely themed.
