LEAPING WATERS' GALLERY NOW FEATURING HEATHER KELLY DESIGNS
Nail it Art is a small Maine based company that has transformed the old craft of string art
into a modern and captivating body of work using handmade paper, wire, and nails. All
work is made with reclaimed wood, giving each piece a unique quality.
My work is inspired by sacred geometry which incorporates math, science, and spirituality. I create
intricate work by collaging paper, paint, wire and nails. All work is made on reclaimed wood, giving
each piece a unique quality. It is my hope that my work will inspire a moment of quiet reflection and
remind us of our connection to the natural world.
Art has the capacity to soothe, inspire and give expression to something words cannot. For me the
creative process is a gift of self-discovery, expression, and beauty. It is my hope that the focus, love, and
intention I put into my work will inspire a moment of quiet reflection and positively impact the lives of
others.
Displayed designs are:
Torus:
The image of the Torus explains how something starts as a
descent from spirit, or an ascent from matter, through a central
channel or tube of light/energy/consciousness. The energy of the
object can only go so far in one direction before it doubles back
on itself, returning to its source, gaining energy, going forward
again, achieving a certain height or depth, before needing to
return to gather more from source.
The torus is found in everything from atoms to life forms and
even in all cosmic bodies such as stars and galaxies.
Flower of Life:
The Flower of Life symbol is believed to represent the cycle of
creation. It depicts how all life comes from one singular. It is
said to be the actual blueprint of the universe. Its design is
found in every atomic and molecular structure, and life form.
essentially everything in existence. The Flower of Life symbol
has been found in Ireland, Turkey, Egypt, Greece, China, Israel,
Germany, England, Tibet, Japan, and Sweden.
