Experience new sensations, aha moments & more restore with yoga slings (similar to aerial hammocks) & yoga chairs designed to hold you in either deeper or gentler versions of your postures.
Begin with the art & science of using each prop skillfully, safely & beneficially. Refine alignment, tune into breath and body wisdom, feel supported in held postures, & feel lightness as you invite gentle movement, stillness and suspension! Explore shoulder and hip openers, backbends, inversions, core strengtheners, balance & twists that make you go "Wow". Aha moments, access points to more postures or increased depth, & learning to trust as you move beyond perceived limitations are all part of the practice. Yogis of all levels are welcome & no experience is necessary!
Robin Ivy Payton is an experienced yoga teacher & teacher trainer. Her style is encouraging & grounding. She teaches various styles from vinyasa flow to yin, restorative & yoga nidra & promises a relaxing savasana with aerial hammock option.
Robin's anatomy training includes studies with Marlysa Sullivan, Grace Jull, David Vendetti, local physical therapists & chiropractors, & she continues her studies frequently to keep you safe & up to date during your yoga experience. She also focuses on emotional wellbeing and trauma sensitive practices.
