Restorative Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that helps restore balance to the whole person. Supported postures, guided breath and meditations calm the central nervous system and the mind. With practice, restorative yoga can change habitual mind and body patterns, facilitate emotional or physical relief, and increase self awareness and mindfulness.
Understand postures, sequencing, breathing exercises, and other considerations for offering Restorative Yoga. The most up to date research and information about rest, including compelling reasons for Restorative Yoga, in our post pandemic world, will be presented in context.
This training prepares yoga teachers with RYT 200, RYT 500 certification to confidently design and lead restorative classes and to incorporate restorative practices in any class you teach. No prior knowledge of Restorative Yoga is required. Experienced teachers and other wellness professionals are welcome.
